Strawberry Margaritas

Fruit margaritas are great in the summertime. Some are made with fresh squeezed juice like the grapefruit margaritas. Others, like the Li Hing Mui Mango Margaritas have fresh fruit. These on the rocks strawberry margaritas are made with strawberry puree.

Let me just start this post by saying I LOVE MARGARITAS. I also love fresh strawberries. So, it’s only natural to combine the two, right? But they have to be combined in the right way.

Normally when you think of a strawberry margarita, it’s some overly sweet blended version. I’m not a fan of blended margaritas, except for the blended coconut margarita. I think this recipe for strawberry margaritas on the rocks is perfect because it’s made with homemade strawberry puree. Since you make it yourself, you can control how sweet it is. You can also make sure you make it with organic strawberries.

I tried these with salt at first and found I liked them better without. Although they would probably be good with a sugar rim. I havent’ tried that, yet. I’ve just been drinking them without anything on the rim. And they are absolutely delicious that way
